San Clemente Precision Archery is built on the same principles that govern orthopedic surgery: alignment, force balance, and repeatability.

I’m an active-duty Navy orthopedic surgery physician associate and former Navy Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician. In the operating room or on the dive side, outcomes depend on controlled, deliberate adjustments. Variables are isolated, changes are measured, and results are verified before moving forward.

That same clinical methodology is applied to bow tuning and custom arrow building.

This is not retail archery. It is an appointment-only precision archery lab. Each bow is treated as a complete system, adjusted one variable at a time, with no unnecessary changes or rushed work.

Every adjustment has a reason—just like in surgery or when resetting fractured bones.

I grew up hunting and spending time outdoors with my father from the age of five—a passion he still shares today at 76 years old. Those early experiences shaped a lifelong respect for hunting, preparation, and doing things the right way.

Bowhunting elk is my primary focus (my wife calls it an addiction). I spend the entire year preparing—practicing my calling, refining my shot sequence, and obsessing over every detail—so that when September arrives, nothing is left to chance. I also enjoy hunting deer, turkeys, and coyotes.

I specialize in building precision high-FOC hunting arrows, because consistent broadhead flight and maximum penetration are non-negotiable for ethical big-game hunting. A properly built arrow paired with a perfectly tuned bow is essential. Over the years, I found that many large bow shops simply don’t tune bows or build arrows to the level of precision I demand for my own hunts—so I’ve always done it myself.

Living in San Clemente, I created this service to close a local capability gap near Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Comparable services typically require long drives and often lack the one-on-one evaluation and attention to detail I provide. My goal is simple: deliver uncompromising precision, personal service, and equipment you can trust when it matters most.
